Paula Martínez Artero won the Audience Award for Best Short Film at D’A in 2023. This Is Not a Movie About Cardente was her first cinematic work, where her deft touch in editing was already evident. In this edition, we’ve had her among our ranks—filming, observing, making reels… some even say she’s been seen late at night capturing the traces the festival leaves behind when it shuts down.
