In Talents we gather a competitive selection of films from directors with a maximum of three movies in their repertory. Twelve directors will be presenting their first feature, a journey that will takes us on new paths through new cinematography’s cutting edge voices with bold visions, creative risks, a variety of topics and points of view. It’s a chance to see Lorcano’s Special Mention for Best First Feature, the Chinese film Kaili Blues of GAN BI, ANDRÉS DUQUE (A rare breed), Dead Slow Ahead of MAURO HERCE (one of the best Spanish movies of the year, present in a lot of international festivals and collecting prices from Locarno to Ann Arbour) or one of this year’s revelations, Bang Gang (Une histoire de amour modern) from EVAN HUSSON.
