She studied at the New School of Cinema and Television at the Veritas University. Her short film Irene participated, among others, in the festivals such as Clermont-Ferrand or La Habana (Jury Mention). In 2011 she founded with Nicolás Wong the production company La Linterna Films. Her first feature film Medea premiered in San Sebastian IFF before participating in over 50 festivals around the world, and it was Costa Rica’s nomination for the Best International Feature Academy Award.
