With a career in literature and advertising, he began writing screenplays after winning the HBO competition at the Toronto Film Festival with the project The Human Torch. He made his directorial debut with Half Shaved (2013), which won awards and premiered at numerous festivals. While directing other short films, he continued writing scripts for other feature films. He premiered his first film at the last Venice Film Festival, where he received two awards.
