Juan González and Fernando Martínez, known as Burnin’ Percebes, have directed several auto-suggested and self-managed films since 2014. In 2020, they released La reina de los lagartos, shot in Super 8 and starring Bruna Cusí and Javier Botet. The film was nominated for two Feroz Awards and won the VII Rizoma Film Award after participating in the Seville Film Festival, D’A and Cinespaña, among others. El fantástico caso del Golem is their latest film, which they premiere while preparing an animated series and their next feature film.
