After directing several internationally award-winning short films, he undertook a residency at the Villa Medici, where he shot his first feature film, Daydreams, premiered at the Locarno Film Festival. As a screenwriter, he collaborates with filmmakers such as Yann Gonzalez, Valeria Bruni-Tedeschi, and Philippe Garrel. He also works on literary adaptations for film, most recently for directors Michele Pennetta and Baya Kasmi.
