It is common to see her works — which move naturally between romantic comedy and high-intensity drama — in the main selections of major festivals. She debuted with Poker but became internationally known with The New Eve, selected in Berlin. Since then she has directed a dozen films such as Leaving, starring Sergi López, or Summertime, awarded at Locarno.
