He is a philosopher, affiliated as a researcher at the Alexandru Dragomir Institute of Philosophy in Bucharest. He is a professor at the National University of Theatre and Film in the same city. His research focuses on phenomenology, critical theory and the philosophy of history, film and media, topics on which he has published multiple books and essays. He is currently developing a research project dedicated to post-socialist advertising.
