Erige Sehiri

She is a French-Tunisian director and producer. With her production company Henia Production, she develops author documentaries selected at festivals such as Visions du Réel, IDFA or Cinemed. In 2018, her documentary feature Railway Men spent six weeks in Tunisian cinemas. In 2021, she wrote, directed and produced her first fiction feature, Under the Fig Trees, which won several post-production awards at the Venice Film Festival (Final Cut in Venice). She then joined the selection for the 54th Directors’ Fortnight at Cannes 2022.
