Gabriel Azorin studied Audiovisual Communication in Valencia, Paris and Mexico City. He graduated in Direction at ECAM, the School of Cinematography of Madrid. The project for his thesis, “Los Galgos” (Greyhounds), was selected in a dozen of international festivals, including San Sebastián, Alcine, Lille, Ficunam, Zinebi, Cinema Jove and Estoril, and considered one of the best spanish short films of 2012 by magazines such Caimán Cuadernos de Cine y Fotogramas. In 2012 “Mi nombre es Portero” (My name is Goalkeeper) won the international competition The Chance organized by Nike, with Spike Lee as president of the jury.
