She has been a director and producer since 2000. With a postgraduate degree in Film and Television, Reis founded the company Uma Pedra no Sapato in 2008. She has co-directed several documentaries with João Miller Guerra, selected and awarded at festivals such as IDFA, Cinéma du Réel, DOK Leipzig, and BAFICI. “Djon Africa”, their debut fiction feature film, premiered in Rotterdam.
