Graduated in Film from Columbia University and with a master’s degree in directing from the Rochester Institute of Technology, Tuna portrays the contemporary complexity of Turkey, combining social commentary with his own aesthetics. He has participated twice (2019 and 2020) in the Sundance screenwriting laboratories. He has directed seven short films prior to Dormitory, his debut feature, which is a sequel to his latest short, Ayakkabi.
