Noah Baumbach

He is one of the most important filmmakers of American indie cinema, responsible for iconic works such as Frances Ha and the highly acclaimed Marriage Story, winner of an Oscar. His films, which are a regular at the main international festivals, always seek tonal balance between comedy and naturalistic drama. He shares part of his career with actress and director Greta Gerwig, who stars in and co-writes many of the scripts for his films, such as Frances Ha itself or Mistress America.
