She is the daughter of a French mother and a Moroccan father. Her two cultures have shaped her world view. Her short film, A Few Seconds, participated in the 2015 Cannes Filmmakers’ Fortnight, received critical acclaim and awards at other festivals. Her debut film premiered at Toronto Film Festival.
