Tania Hernández Velasco

She is a filmmaker and film educator. Through intimate, collaborative, and sensory gestures, her cinema reimagines body, territory, and identity, exploring the connections between land and humans. She directs films such as Titixe and Eclipsis, and co-directs Our Body Is an Expanding Star, which have been selected for international festivals such as IDFA, Ann Arbor, Trieste, and many more. She is currently preparing the docufiction Capolcuahuitl.
