Mia Hansen-Løve directed her first film, Tout est pardonné, when she was 26 years old and has not stopped surprising us since. At D’A we are big fans, which is why we have presented much of her filmography at the festival, and she visited us in 2011 with her second film, Le père de mes enfants. That is why it seemed like a logical step to award her the D’A 2026 Prize in recognition of an exemplary career, full of great milestones such as Una bonita mañana or El porvenir. Chose your favourite one! It will be a great opportunity to learn about the inner workings of her creative process and other aspects of her profession at the talk she will offer after receiving the award.
The section of the D’A – Barcelona Film Festival dedicated to the major names of world cinema, the most relevant filmmakers of the moment, includes new works by directors who are true references: Lucrecia Martel, Claire Denis, Alice Diop, Joanna Hogg, Milagros Mumenthaler or Valérie Donzelli premiere their latest films at the festival. Unmissable.
