Another year with the fastest and most intuitive guide to D’A
D’A – Barcelona Film Festival 2025 arrives packed with new features and offerings for all lovers of auteur and independent cinema. With a program that includes 121 films (21 world premieres, 2 European, 24 Spanish, and 66 Catalan), the festival also celebrates its 15th anniversary—with award ceremonies, masterclasses, pitchings, cocktails, and much more!
But… but! Where to start?
- This year, our director has recommended more films than usual—we all know the magic number is 15… so here are 15 must-sees!
- Our programming advisors have also weighed in: check out which films they highlight and why!
- Don’t miss the thematic itineraries, a guide to the major themes running through the program.
- Need to watch the trailers first? Visit our YouTube channel—all with subtitles!
When are we screening them?
- Check out our new visual schedule, download the timetables, the program booklet, or even…
- Make “My D’A” yours: select everything you want to watch, add your favorites, and download a personalized PDF schedule or a JPG to share with friends. Could it be easier? Just remember—if you clear your cache, switch browsers, or change screens, it resets to zero!
Where to find us?
In the best cinemas in the city. Check out the venues here. You can’t get lost!
Buy, vote, debate!
- On codetickets, you’ll find all the sessions. By purchasing online, you’re helping the festival’s sustainability.
- We love and take our Audience Award very seriously. Every year, we refine the voting system to make it reliable and effective. Don’t forget to vote with the QR codes you’ll find in the venue! For more information about the awards… click here!
- Join the Q&A sessions and the debate format with a beer, which are our Meet the directors events at Sala Raval of the CCCB. Check out which films you can enjoy for an intimate cinephile evening.
- Oh… we’d be surprised if you didn’t know, but… did you hear that we’re giving out 2 D’A Awards and one Honorary Award? Be one of the lucky ones to attend the dialogues with these cinema icons!
