Brief auteur’s journey to enjoy D’A Film Festival

D’A – BARCELONA FILM FESTIVAL offers a menu of talks, laboratories for creators, experimental concerts, meetings with directors… but if you are looking for auteur films, you won’t go hungry with us. That’s what defines us.

Keep an eye on our YouTube channel. There you will find the trailer of each film and, during the festival, it will be updated with interviews of the filmmakers who will visit us.

You will find us in multiple corners of the city. Here you have the information of all the D’A venues.

As you will see, there are more than just movie theaters:

  • Hall CCCB:
  • When you enter the CCCB, keep an eye out! You will find the experimental Concerts Audiovisuals (Friday 25 to Sunday 27) and another kind of tunes: the Simfonies de Ciutat, with free admitance (Thursday 30 and Friday 31), which expand the collection inaugurated last year of urban visions by different filmmakers. The masterclass with Céline Sciamma, awarded with D’A 2023 Award, also will be held at
  • Sala Raval CCCB: A place for meeting and discussion. Here you can attend the Podcasts that will be broadcasted during the Festival and the Meet the directors, a post-screening dialogue space with two filmmakers from the Talents section.
  • SGAE Venue: Our laboratory, home of the D’A Film Lab Barcelona, with 12 selected projects and a lot of workshops and activities open to the public. Sign up!
  • Paral·lel 62: Are you going to miss this unique opportunity to enjoy Iván Zulueta’s forgotten short films with live music by J, from Los Planetas? Come on Wednesday 29th at 21:00 at Paral·lel 62!

  • We highly recommend to buy tickets online. That way you’ll sava time at the lines and also contribute to the sustainability of the festival. All the tickets at one click.
  • Vote: And don’t forget that after each screening you can rate the films and decide who wins the Audience Awards (feature film and short film). The other awards are deliberated by four different juries. If you want to know more, click here for more information.
  • Sustainability & accessibily: We are #DAsustainable and all Festival spaces are accessible.

Follow us in the social media and don’t lose any relevant information of the festival singing up in our daily newsletter during the festival.
