The dialogue that filmmaker Mia Hansen-Løve held within the framework of D’A 2026 with film critic Philipp Engel is now available and translated (with Spanish subtitles). The French director was awarded the D’A 2026 Award at the 16th edition of the D’A – Barcelona Film Festival, in recognition of an independent and always personal career. In the dialogue, she talks about her working process, advances plans for a future period film on which she has been working for a long time, talks about her collaborators, the revelation that her first experience on a set meant for her, and pays special attention to her relationship of absolute intimacy and the vital necessity of cinema.
