Asturian director Diego Llorente makes his feature film debut with a luminous film about love, reunions and separations, set in a summer that is a break from the non-place in which the young protagonists of the film live. A director who lets his actors do it, with dialogues that seem improvised and that leave a lot of space for the development of relationships. A film (Notas sobre un verano) that arrived at D’A 2023 after premiering at the Rotterdam Festival and in which we find delicious echoes of Rohmer’s cinema.
