The Currents, one of the sensations of this year’s auteur cinema, is precisely an exploration of the mystery of Lina, a strikingly beautiful and successful figure in Argentine fashion who begins to fracture internally upon receiving an honorary award in Switzerland. We speak with Mumenthaler about the creation of the character and about romantic acts. Is there still room for them in a world like ours?
