Jone, batzuetan (Jone, a veces) is the debut feature of Bilbao-born Sara Fantova. She has been living in Barcelona for many years and developed the film through the Ópera Prima program at ESCAC. However, she wanted her debut to have a strong connection to her roots, Bilbao, and especially to the iconic Semana Grande. Fantova welcomed us after receiving much praise in Málaga, where she was awarded the special mention from the jury for direction.
