Synopsis
Autobiography of a Handbag follows a white Miu Miu Wander bag as it recounts its own life story—from its creation to old age—traversing a range of settings and owners. Set against the rolling Tuscan landscape, the handbag becomes the silent main character around which contemporary Italy is seen with joy, sorrow, despair, and desire.

Joanna Hogg
With a training that encompasses audiovisual experimentation and the filming of mainstream television products, Hogg made his feature film debut in 2007 with Unrelated many years after having directed the short Caprice, starring Tilda Swinton. From here she begins a radically personal filmography that leads her to be considered one of the great names of contemporary cinema and to win a Jury Award at Sundance, among others. In 2025 she received the D’A Award in honor of his career.
