Synopsis
La Casa del Pueblo, in Santa Lucía de Gordón, was known during the darkest times of Franco’s regime as “Casa de España”. It is difficult to calculate how many workers disaffected with the regime were locked up and tortured within its walls, used in most cases as slave labour. And it is also very difficult to know how many of them finally walked out of its doors, without trial of any kind, to be “paraded”, shot and thrown into a pit.
