Synopsis

Alice Rohrwacher, winner of the 2024 D’A Prize, will hold a dialogue about her work with film critic Manu Yáñez, a declared fan of the Italian director’s humanistic and poetic cinema. The appointment will be on March 9 at 5.45pm at the CCCB Theatre, after the presentation of the honorary award. The filmmaker won the Grand Jury Prize in Cannes with El país de las maravillas (2014), where years later she would receive the award for best screenplay for Lazzaro feliz (2018), starring the Catalan Sergi López, with whom she traveled to festivals from all over the world and won 18 prizes, including three at the Sitges Festival. His latest work, La chimera – which will be screened in a special session at the festival – had its Spanish premiere at the Valladolid Festival, where it won the Espiga de Plata. Tickets for the dialogue will cost €3 and will be on sale on April 2.
