Synopsis
A writer travels along the Danube in search of the river’s origin. It is said that its waters come from a badly closed tap in a house. On the way he meets a young fugitive who escapes from his house by descending the river. Does the Young Fugitive come from the source of the Danube? What is his story? A film inspired by Claudio Magris’ Danube tales.

Jaume Claret Muxart
He studied at the Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola (EQZE), where he was part of the first generation. His short film Ella i jo premiered at the San Sebastian, Rotterdam, FICUNAM or IndieLisboa film festivals, among others. Currently, he has finished the short film Die Donau, world-premiered at FIDMarseille, and is developing his first feature film, Estrany riu, which has participated in the Iksumira Berriak residency at the San Sebastian Film Festival and in the Screenplay Residency at the Catalan Film Academy. He is part of Arquitectura Filmada and the educational program Cinema en Curs of the association A Bao A Qu.
