Synopsis

Caught by Reverend Pearson’s blind faith, her father, Leni joins him in his Evangelical mission. A trivial accident makes them stop in the car repair shop owned by the Gringo. When the Reverend starts getting obsessed with saving Tapioca’s soul, the mechanic’s son,
Leni understands it’s time to assume her destiny.

Paula Hernández

She studied at Universidad del Cine in Buenos Aires, was granted a scholarship at the Berlinale Talent Campus, and her projects have been funded by Visions Sud Est Fund, among others. She has directed seven feature films, all of them present in the main festivals, such as Toronto, San Sebastián or Havana. Los somámbulos (D’A 2020) was the Argentine candidate for the Oscars and Las siamesas was nominated for a Goya award.
