Synopsis
After testing to see if she had inherited her father’s neurodegenerative disease, Arlet did not dare return home. However, almost four months later, she is forced to return to spend a weekend with her family and celebrate her twentieth birthday. The reunion with her past, with her brothers and, above all, with the delicate state of health of her father, turns what could have been a weekend of celebration into a process of struggle and personal acceptance to learn to living with the ghost of a disease that has haunted them for years: the time has come to make a decision.

Aida Martos
She has a degree in Audiovisual Communication from Pompeu Fabra University, specializing in Film Direction, and is currently studying a postgraduate degree in Line Producing at ESCAC, where she has participated in several short films as head or director of production. In 2019 she co-directed the short film Angel together with Pol Mansachs, and has been in charge of the production of various video clips.

Gerard Gil
He has a degree in Audiovisual Communication from Pompeu Fabra University with a specialization in Film Direction. He has combined his training with theater at schools such as Nancy Tuñón or Estudi Laura Jou. In 2019 he co-directed, together with Jana Jubert, the short film Greata (Nàusea), selected at San Sebastián Film Festival and D’A Film Festival.
