Synopsis
Vital moments
Three films, three vital moments: childhood, entry into adult life and old age. The same feeling of being trapped: in the familiar world, between dreams and reality or in illness.
A Dominican carnival, an after party night at a film festival, and a weekend in a country house. Three supposedly happy moments that bring out the experiences and desires of the characters, and that remind us that it is never too late to take action.
Young Moving Cinema Programmers at D’A
They are a group of fourteen young people between 20 and 24 years old who share the previous experience of having been Young Moving Cinema Programmers in various cinematographic spaces (the Filmoteca de Catalunya, the D’A Film Festival Barcelona or l’Alternativa). Passionate about cinema as they are, now they meet again to program two very special sessions in which we want to establish dialogues between films and travel through different perspectives. “We feel very fortunate to be part of the D’A Film Festival Barcelona and close its 12th edition by highlighting the short film.”
