Synopsis

An intimate portrait of the last days in Africa of the Danish colonist Karen Blixen. And, in particular, of the remarkable relationship with her Somali servant Farah Aden. A strange friendship in which apparently insurmountable differences fade in the face of an ancestral understanding.

She began her cinematographic career at a very young age, writing and directing short films. Among them, Robin & Robin, present in Berlin and Cannes, and Ejercicio 2: Ficción, with which in 2015 she won the Grand Jury Prize of the Jameson Notodofilmfest. Her debut feature, the documentary Malpartida Fluxus Village, garnered major awards, and with Karen she won the Un Impulso Colectivo award at D’A. Variety magazine recently highlighted her as an emerging talent at Cannes. Recently, Variety and Screen International magazines highlighted her as an emerging talent at Cannes and as one of the 10 emerging talents with the greatest international projection, respectively.
