In La sangre es blanca, Óscar Vincentelli uses the surgical precision of a thermal camera to remove all the folklore that covers a bullfight. The once known as a national ritual has been turned into a macabre dance, and all that remains before you is the ritual of death.
His work crosses documentary, ethnographic and experimental cinema with audiovisual arts, and has been selected at festivals such as Locarno, Marseille, Valdivia or Malaga. In 2020 he was part of the Berlinale Talents and an artistic residence of the Spanish Film Academy with his feature film project Una vez fuego. His latest installation, Se van sus naves, was presented at the Tabakalera center in San Sebastián.
