Synopsis
Rural England, 1865. Katherine (Florence Pugh) is stifled by her loveless marriage to a bitter man twice her age, and his cold, unforgiving family. (London) William studied directing at RADA before becoming Director in Residence at the Young Vic Theatre, where he directed Ghosts by Ibsen in a new version by Frank McGuinness. Lady Macbeth is his first feature film.
