It is a summer day at the municipal swimming pool of Montánchez (Cáceres). From up on high, the Virgen de la Consolación del Castillo keeps her watchful eye open.

(Elche, 1980) He’s a director, writer and producer. His multi-awarded short films have travelled around festivals all over the world. cortos han viajado por festivales de todo el mundo.

Ion de Sosa
He is a director, cinematographer and producer. He premiered his first feature film at the Berlinale, Androids Dream, produced by Luis López Carrasco. He works closely with Chema García Ibarra, with whom he has co-directed The Golden Legend (D’A 2020), and is the director of photography of the Elche filmmaker himself (The Sacred Spirit), or of recent works such as Contadores de Gorostidi (D’A 2024) and The Fantastic Golem Affairs (D’A 2023) by Burnin’ Percebes. He is co-founder of the production company Apellaniz y Sosa.
