Synopsis
During Argentina’s civil-military dictatorship in the 70s and 80s, the LGBTQIA+ community was persecuted and disappeared. In this context, transvestites, dykes, faggots and other monsters of all stripes weaved strategies of flirtation in Buenos Aires’s teapots to free themselves and clandestine parties in the Delta’s Tigre to survive.

Alejo Duclós
Filmmaker, producer, programmer and film distributor. Graduated with a degree in Film Directing from the Universidad del Cine of Buenos Aires. During 2022-2023, he studied a Master in Curatorship at the Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola and developed “Memorias Sinvergüenzas”, a project that seeks to vindicate the testimonies of older LGBTQIA+ adults and build a bridge with the younger generation through conversations, screenings and artistic manifestations. In 2023, he premieres three short films at Asterisco (Argentina), DocsMx (Mexico) and MUTA (Peru).
