MI MADRE

MI MADRE

Based in the novel by Georges Bataille. 17 year-old Pierre vows blind love to his mother, who isn’t ready to handle what her sons projects onto her. Refusing to be loved for something she isn’t, she decides to break all mystery and reveal her true nature, a woman for whom immorality has become an addiction. Pierre is going to ask her to initiate him into debauchery and go all the way in this more and more dangerous game…

(France, 1970) He arrived in Paris in the 1990s, where he began working in cinema. After debuting with the short film Nous deux (2001), his feature films show him as a very personal creator, with a taste marked by a certain pop romanticism, and with an extraordinary ability to integrate his idols into his particular and very recognizable imaginary.
