Based in the novel by Georges Bataille. 17 year-old Pierre vows blind love to his mother, who isn’t ready to handle what her sons projects onto her. Refusing to be loved for something she isn’t, she decides to break all mystery and reveal her true nature, a woman for whom immorality has become an addiction. Pierre is going to ask her to initiate him into debauchery and go all the way in this more and more dangerous game…

(Bretagne, 1970) He is a novelist, playwright and filmmaker. His 2006 film Dans Paris has led him to be considered by French critics as the heir to the Nouvelle Vague Cinema. Les chansons d’amour was one of the films selected to be in competition at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival.
