He studied Film at Konkuk University. He won the DMC Cornet Prize at the DMC Short Film Festival for Actors (2015). With his short film, Snail (2020), he earned a special mention from the jury at the Busan International Short Film Festival, Best Director at Cheongju International Short Film Festival, and the Excellence Award at the Daegu Short Film Festival. He also won the Audience Award at the Seoul Independent Film Festival for his short film, Seoul Cinema (2022).
