Synopsis
This could be the typical story of a film lover and his dream girl, or a usual generational comedy about the difficulties of growing but Marc Ferrer – one of the most surprising debuts of in Catalan cinema – removes all clichés to transform them into something else: a realistic and imaginative movie about cinema itself, a fictional tale that is constructed as it progresses, a thriller without a beginning nor end. Austere and elliptical, between Nouvelle Vague and post humor, it’s an elegant debut that reinvents itself constantly during almost 60 minutes. Yes, this time is a true discovery.
