Synopsis
Carlos spends one last night in New York with Mark. His student visa has expired and has no other option than leaving the country. But what initially was going to be a simple farewell gets complicated when Mark starts questioning the nature of their relationship, and suggests that maybe him and Carlos should keep fighting for it, even though none of them can really explain what they are doing. Only Fools Rush in is an exploration of the nuances of a non normative relationship in modern times. Finding its place between drama and comedy, the film was inspired by the intimacy of the mumblecore movement.

David Moragas
He is a screenwriter and film director. He graduated in Audiovisual Communication from Universitat Pompeu Fabra and completed a Master’s degree in Directing at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. His debut feature film, A Stormy Night, premiered at the Málaga and the D’A film festivals, and was nominated for the Gaudí Award for Best Editing. He combines filmmaking with university teaching.
