Bernhard Wenger
He studied directing at the Vienna Film Academy. His debut feature film, Peacock, had it’s world premiere at Venice Film Festival. With the script he was selected for the Cinéfondation Residence of Cannes. He loves to work with subtle, odd and visual humour. His short films have been awarded with prizes such as Best Short Film at the Austrian Film Awards or the Max Ophüls Award. He is also an alumnus of Berlinale Talents, Locarno Filmmakers Academy, Zürich Film Festival Academy and Talent Village Les Arcs.
