Synopsis
After experimenting with ghostly drama in The Eternal Daughter (2022), Joanna Hogg delivers with Présages a spectral short film about the city of Los Angeles in winter, where present and past merge through empty hotels or abandoned cinemas. The film is part of the Centre Pompidou’s Ou en êtes-vous? series, which offers renowned filmmakers carte blanche to delve into their personal perspective.
