Avelina Prat
An architect by training and a filmmaker, she has worked as a script supervisor with directors such as Fernando Trueba, Cesc Gay, and Lucile Hadzihalilovic. She has directed short films and documentaries and has programmed for the Cinema Jove film festival. She made her feature film debut with Vasil, which was awarded at the SEMINCI film festival. Her second film, The Portuguese House, catapulted her to prominence as a leading director on the national scene.
