Synopsis
Edo. In a secluded alleyway, a samurai confronts several ronin (masterless samurai). One ronin tries to slash at them, but he’s met with a quick switch by the samurai and falls to the ground. The samurai runs deeper and deeper into the alley, confronting the other ronin. Only the corpse of the fallen ronin is left behind. Then… The corpse of a ronin who had been lying on the ground rises up with a start. The samurai and ronin began to head off in different directions from the brawl. Miyamatsu is a man who lives as an extra actor. Through his various “roles,” he has been living the life of a stranger, playing the role of no one else.

Masahiko Sato, Yutaro Seki, Kentaro Hirase
Masahiko Sato (Japan, 1954) is the founder of the Topics communication agency and has received awards such as the New York ADC Gold Prize. Yutaro Seki (Japan, 1987) graduated from the Tokyo University of Arts, has worked on several television programs and is also an audiovisual producer. Kentaro Hirase (San Francisco, 1986) graduated from the Tokyo University of Arts and founded the communication agency Canopus.
