Superpigs

Josep Cabo González

Un impulso colectivo - Curts Spain 14 min World Premiere

Synopsis

Elena is a vegetarian working in a butcher’s shop. She tells the story of a plague of super pigs (hybrids of wild boar and domestic pigs) that is sweeping across the US and Canada. Created by humans to promote hunting, these super pigs defy their intended purpose with their superhuman survival instinct. Elena recounts this tale of animal resistance as though it were a children’s story, while also reflecting on her relationship with meat and humanity’s impact on the natural environment.
