Synopsis

Ann, a morose New Yorker in her 30’s, feels stuck in all areas of her life. To her dismay, the years have gone by quickly in her long-term casual BDSM relationship, low-level corporate job, and quarrelsome Jewish family. As she begins to feel increasingly alienated, she wrestles with herself and her relationships.

Brooklyn-based filmmaker. She wrote and directed Bad at Dancing, awarded the Silver Bear Jury Prize at the Berlinale. Other films of hers have been presented at festivals such as Rotterdam, Hong Kong International, and Guanajuato. Arnow is also a writer and actress, putting herself in the hands of directors such as Aaron Schimberg and Kati Skelton. The Feeling that the Time for Something Has Passed is her first feature-length fiction film.
