Synopsis

Paco (75) is madly in love with his wife, Trini (73). Due to a tragic Alzheimer diagnosis, he makes the difficult decision to admit her to a nursing home, where he visits her daily. Through the eyes of Marta, their granddaughter, we see their loving relationship through the years. This documentary filmed for a period of 12 years tries to capture memories and becomes an emotional film about love itself.

Marta Romero

She has a degree in Audiovisual Communication from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Her documentary short film Facunda premiered at IDFA, was selected at festivals such as Alcine, Alcances or Uppsala and was nominated at the XIV Gaudí Awards. She has also directed films around dance such as 9241, Ezlekua, co-directed with Luz Ruciello or Noir, which have been selected in several international festivals.
