Synopsis
Rejecting the billions of alphabetic diktats to liberate the incessant metamorphoses and metaphors of a necessary and true language, the director returns to the locations of past film shoots, while keeping track of modern times.
Filmmaker
Jean-Luc Godard
He needs no introduction: he is the greatest exponent of the Nouvelle Vague, with the permission of François Truffaut and Agnès Varda, and his masterpieces cannot be counted on one hand. His cinematographic theories, the embodiment of which we find in his films, are largely responsible for an avant-garde that would not be understood without him and without works such as “Breathless”, “Contempt”, or “Pierrot Goes Wild”.
