Synopsis
Què té a veure l’agricultura amb el cinema? I en què es poden assemblar dues dones que es dediquen a plantar i recollir, i un home que intenta caçar sons per a una pel·lícula? Carlos Balbuena −de qui ja vam veure els dos primers llargs al D’A− recorre ara a un format aparentment menor per regalar-nos una obra major, un prodigi d’observació i sensibilitat, una pel·lícula sobre el temps, un elogi de la calma.

The aesthetic and political weight of the landscape is one of the characteristics of his cinema, a good part of which has been seen on the screens of D’A. He graduated from ESCAC and his career has focused mainly on editing, as well as film criticism. His films Ashes, produced by Pere Portabella, and Elephants, had their world premiere at the D’A and were selected at several international film festivals.
