Synopsis
An experimental documentary film that deals with historical memory in a light-hearted way. Through a collage of heterogeneous narrative strategies, the director immerses himself in the phenomenon of war tourism. The combination of historical study and personal cinematic immersion, with an irreverent tone, does not hide the cruelty of the past. Satire is used as a critical tool to challenge simplified historical discourses, offering an unusual way of recovering historical memory.

Kikol Grau
He has a degree in History from the University of Barcelona. His work is mostly based on the montage and reinterpretation of archive images. After directing Objetivo Gadafi, he filmed a trilogy about Basque punk in the 1980s. His filmography also includes titles such as Moctezuma-Grau. Descendencia mortal, premiered in Gijón, and La transacciónand Histeria de España, both selected in Seville. Turismo de guerrareceived the Contrapicada grant and the first Corte Final prize at Documenta Madrid.
