Synopsis
Programmed by the students of the Master’s Program in Film Studies and Visual Cultures at ESCAC, with guidance from D’A, this short film session serves as a vibrant showcase of the work produced within the framework of the Escola Superior de Cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya’s extensive training program.
With the aim of highlighting the richness and diversity of the ESCAC community, this collection of short films moves between fiction and documentary, genre cinema and vibrant intimacy, and the most solid narratives and the most daring aesthetics. Furthermore, in its openness to multiple themes and sensibilities (from satire to social drama, from fantasy to historical narrative, from coming-of-age stories to visual essays), this session of the “ESCAC Universe” offers a snapshot of an imaginary world connected to the medium of cinema and to the reality of the world.
