Barcelona estoy sola

Sofía Güerzoni

LAB Spain Fiction

Synopsis

Sofía is Argentine and lives in Barcelona. She sets out to make an experimental film that nobody will like in order not to go crazy. She will recreate videos from her childhood and her parents’ wedding while dealing with her job, her mental health, and the difficulties of production. Convincing her former theater classmates to act and produce, she embarks on an absurd and magical adventure where immigration, lack of resources, anxiety, and unexpected encounters intertwine. Little by little, Barcelona stops being a lonely city and becomes a space where magic exists if you open your eyes and start filming.
